Golf Digest's 50 Greatest World Golf Destinations. From challenging
roughs to intricate beautifully landscaped waterways, the courses

Attractions line the Myrtle Beach atmosphere targeted towards
family fun and entertainment. Attractions include theme parks,
water parks, go-cart tracks, putt-putt golf, museums, and nature

styles ranging from seafood to home-cooking. In Myrtle Beach
along the boardwalk a mix of shopping, restaurants and fun can

Events to look forward to this year in 2005 are the "Can-Am
Days Festival", "Mutual of Omaha Drive", "Bike
Week 2005", "Independence Day Celebration", and
many others.
The Can-Am Days Festival or the Canadian-American Days Festival
will be March 12-20, 2005. This year will be the 44th year to
welcome vacationers and visitors to the warm Myrtle Beach SC
area. The Can-Am Celebration includes highlights like the "Little
Olympics", "International Kitefest", "St.
Patrick's Day Parade and Festival", and the "National
Shag Dance Championship."
The Mutual of Omaha is a Chip and Putt Junior Challenge, presented
by the Golf Channel and will start at 1:00pm on April ninth
at the Whispering Pines Golf Course. (The Whispering Pines Golf
Course offers 18 holes of golf on 250 acres of Myrtle Beach
landscaped soil on the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base.)
Bike Week 2005 presented by Harley-Davidson Dealers Association
is the Spring Rally which brings many bike lovers from around
the country. This event will happen at the Myrtle Beach Convention
Center on May 18-21, 2005.
