While many people think of the “theater” as something for only adults to enjoy, Myrtle Beach has something for everyone- and for every age group. Several of the theatres in town are decidedly family friendly. The music here is top notch. Many refer to Myrtle Beach as a sort of “Branson of the South”. Don’t expect second-rate musical acts here. Musical groups you and your family will be familiar with often come through Myrtle Beach. Others, like the super-group, Alabama, make their home here. And that means you can enjoy them whenever you come.


The Grand Strand:
The Grand Strand is a section of the city where entertainment is center-stage. Here the family can go and see a movie at one of the numerous cinemas located in the area, have a little fun competition with a round of miniature golf, or turn the competition up a notch with a race at the mock Nascar go-cart circuit.
